1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services of Clair de Age Beauty Lounge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Clair de Age Beauty Lounge offers a variety of beauty and cosmetic services, including:
- Facial treatments and skincare services
- Anti-aging treatments
- Chemical peels and microdermabrasion
- Eyebrow and eyelash services
- Waxing and hair removal
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- Beauty consultations and skincare assessments
- Product recommendations and sales
- Specialized cosmetic procedures
3. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due upon completion of the treatment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept e-transfer, credit card, cash, and cheque. Package payments may be required in advance. Service deposits may be required for certain treatments.
4. Health and Safety Disclaimer
Beauty treatments may involve inherent risks and potential side effects. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate medical history, including medications, allergies, and skin sensitivities
- Follow all pre and post-treatment care instructions
- Inform us immediately of any adverse reactions or concerns
- Understand that results may vary and are not guaranteed
- Consent to patch testing when recommended for your safety
Clair de Age Beauty Lounge is not responsible for any adverse reactions when proper protocols are followed and accurate information is provided by the client.
5. Appointment Policy
- Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees
- Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time or rescheduling
- No-shows will be charged 50% of the service fee
- Same-day cancellations will be charged 50% of the service fee
- Medical emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis
6. Treatment Consent and Photography
- Clients must provide informed consent before any treatment
- Photos may be taken for treatment documentation and progress tracking
- Marketing use of photos requires separate written consent
- Clients have the right to decline photography at any time
7. Product Sales and Returns
- All product sales are final unless defective
- Unopened products may be exchanged within 14 days with receipt
- Custom-mixed products are non-returnable
- Product recommendations are based on consultation but results are not guaranteed
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
- Provide accurate health and medical information
- Follow pre and post-treatment instructions
- Respect salon property and other clients
- Maintain appropriate hygiene standards
9. Limitation of Liability
Clair de Age Beauty Lounge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the services. This includes but is not limited to allergic reactions, skin sensitivity, or dissatisfaction with results when proper protocols are followed.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify clients of any changes via email or through our website, and your continued use of our services after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
